LCC has served as Engineer of Work for Assessment District No. 20 since its formation in 1988. The assessments levied pay for the cost to service and maintain public street lighting and landscaping. As District Engineer the annual procedures include preparing resolutions, attending City Council meetings, tracking expenses incurred by the District, assisting City Staff with reviewing budget levels, preparation of an annual engineer’s report and posting assessments to the County Property Tax Roll. The duties include responding to Council, City Staff and Public inquiries throughout the fiscal year.
