Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering is the second-oldest engineering discipline after military engineering.

LCC specializes in the design of municipal improvements using traditional design, bid, and build processes. Our projects have ranged from simple single block curb and gutter designs to multi-disciplinary design projects such as bridges, retaining walls, pavement rehabilitation, utility undergrounding, traffic signals, street lighting and electrical systems, planting and irrigation. On these larger projects LCC builds a team of qualified sub consultants that specialize in their fields. LCC assumes the role as the team leader and project coordinator in addition to performing civil design and land surveying tasks.
